Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), this morning, stormed the home of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, at Park View Estate in Ikoyi, Lagos to conduct a search.
They were however unsuccessful as they were denied access into her home. They left immediately with a promise to come back again.
Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia is currently standing trial on a 26-count charge of unlawful enrichment, forgery and giving false information to an official of the EFCC, among others. She was arraigned before Jutice Akeem Oshodi of a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja on November 28th.
She is accused of also receiving N5 million bribe from Godwin Obla, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN, to pervert justice in a case brought before her.
